Open UK Surfboat Championships 2012

Saunton Sands, North Devon

The UKSRL Open Surfboat Championships are scheduled for Saunton Sands, N Devon.

This is were the surf rowers, river rowers and coastal rowers go head to head in surfboats to find out who is the best Mens and Womens surfboat crew in the UK.

From 2006 to 2011 the surf rowers have won the trophy (it has been a close run thing). The river rowers are learning the skills very quickly with crews from Thames RC and Nottingham RC making regular visits to the event.
